NYFW : Jenny Packham

I've been a PR girl at Jenny Packham for just over 2 months, and working for one of the designers that showcases at New York Fashion Week only meant one thing - It was going to be a hectic time in the run up to the AW'15 Jenny Packham Show. One of my roles was to monitor in house and external social media accounts  to creating innovative plans to help create buzz for the event.

Day of the show

Although the show was in New York, it was pretty busy in the London office as that's where the press team are based. A perk of working in the press office meant we all got a sneak peak of the outfits that were going to hit the runway before anyone else. Another perk was we were getting behind the scenes shots sent constantly from the NY team.

Pre Show

Before the show started the focus was all on the visual aesthetics for the catwalk, the main sponsors for the show we're Essie , Laura Mercier and Unite Hair Care whom all did a fantastic job for the show.

Essie
Essie's nail artist Michelle Saunders created a "dew drop" mani for the JP show, using 'adore-a-ball', 'tart deco' and 'summit of style'
Laura Mercier
The look was inspired by 19th Century artists' portrayals of confident women. Talia Sparrow (Make u Artist) showcased beautiful skin and stunning eyes.

Post Show
It was great to  be part of a team that helped in the makings of Jenny Packham's AW'15 Show. The show received a huge amount of coverage from the VIP's that attended to press and stockist. The show reached an estimation 44 + million views from the post being circulated world-wide.

It was even more rewarding to see her stunning designs hit the runway. Here are a few of my favourite looks:
