| Topshop | Pleated Skirts |
Sometimes it doesn't actually hit you until you've worked at a designer company, how the trickle down effect works in fashion. After working previously at DKNY in New York, I was prone to seeing their Resort 2015 collection, a single piece that stood out to me the most was this metallic pleated skirt. Now, being an individual who doesn't dare to wear much colour, I never personally took much of a like for it. However, after browsing the high street recently, I slowly started to notice the increase in stores that have similar skirts in their product ranges. In particular, one that appealed to me was the Topshop Pleat Ankle Grazer Skirt. I walked in store today and had a closer look and taking into consideration that it comes in black you can guess what I'm about to say. It is one of my MUST HAVES this month! Throughout my browsing session, I also took notice that they have similar midi pleated skirts in red and pale blue which I think would be perfect for Spring.
