After living in NYC just over a year ago, I got the amazing opportunity to work for one of the best brands that infuses New York culture into fashion: DKNY. Ever since leaving the company I have watched each and every season get better and better. As a lover of monochrome and city fashion, this season by far didn't disappoint. With the new co-creative directions Dao- Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne this seasons AW'16 collection was all about creating a contemporary outtake of 90's fashion.
The collection heavily reflects the "Tomboy Girl Style" of the 90's playing with pinstripes, layers & tailoring. I love the collection so much that I even decided to invest in a pair of baggy velvet culotte trousers from Zara to channel my inner NYC girl.
